Hot on the Wheels of Wonderful Pistachio

Wonderful Pistachio Team Camp.

The first day of camp was team bike build day where  we actually hung out and built the Edge Design / Orbrea bikes . The chemistry and unknown and known  talent on this team is amazing . This team is the small underdog team that will be on the podium with the likes of:

The chemistry amongst the riders was AWESOME .   We all hung out and I got to hear the stories that have led all the riders to this team including  trials and tribulations .  The sacrifices these individuals make to race their bikes are HUGE. 

Everyone is unique as an individual

Each rider has a specific strength so that  any one of these riders can win a one day race on any given day.  Together as a team they have riders that are strong enough  to GC at any of the NCR stage races

Unfortunately I did not get to ride with them, not because I did not want to, but  because my fitness did warrant it ….... LOL

Stoked to hear the feed back on Edge Design wheels

The last day we met at GP restaurant and got feed back on the equipment .  They all loved the Edge Design wheels even though they were their training wheels as their carbon Sidewinders had not been delivered yet .  Victor RIquelme, a 185 pound powerhouse was able to test our Edge Design Sidewinder 5.0 wheels(sorry guys but the big brut won out on who got to ride the only pair I had that day)   Also at Team build day I heard horror stories of how “XXXXX” brand wheels’ broke spokes, this wheel cracked, this manufacture never follows through on the warranty so I was stoked to hear all the great feed back on our wheels. 

So far we at Edge Design USA and Autuori Frames are off to a great start.   I am very honored and impressed with all the riders I have met on and off the bike ….....professional and amateur.   I love my cycling community and am honored to be able to give back.
